However, the main idea behind it (Mello using Matt as a bludgeon) came from a conversation I had with Tess. HARR HARR.

"Don't make me hit you with a hat!"
"That sounds like something Mello would do. Only with Matt."
"Wait, WHAT?"
"Yes, Mello would totally get pissed off and start using Matt to hit things with. Like a lightpole..."

My memory's crap. That's my version of our conversation. I can't remember what exactly started it.

BUT HERE YOU ARE. NEKKID NEAL MELLO, HITTING MATT AGAINST A POLE BECAUSE HE CALLED THE COPS ON HIM.

HARR HARR.

Now I want to draw Near looking through the papers and finding that. XD
